Warranties
Your custom orthotics are warrantied against defects in workmanship and/or materials for a period of six months.
How long will my orthotics last?
The lifespan of your custom orthotics can be affected by several factors. These include:
Usage: Orthotics used regularly in strenuous activities might wear out more quickly.
Maintenance: Regular cleaning and maintenance can help prolong the lifespan of custom foot orthotics.
Weight and Activity Level: Heavier individuals and those involved in high-impact activities are likely to experience more rapid degradation.
Foot Conditions: Some foot conditions might lead to more rapid wear and tear.
Maintenance of Footwear: Ill-fitting or worn-out shoes can impact the effectiveness of the orthotics and contribute to deterioration.
Can my warranty be extended?
You may extend your warranty with Orthotica Labs’ Continuum Program.
Orthotica Labs’ Continuum ensures that the investment you have made in your custom-fabricated orthotics is protected for 2 full years from date of initial shipping to your doctor’s office. Membership in Continuum begins with completion and submission of the Continuum application which must be received by Orthotica Labs within eight weeks of the shipping date.
How it Works
When you have a pair of orthotics that need repair or replacement:
• Make an appointment with your prescribing physician
in order to determine what adjustments might need
to be made.
• All covered devices will be sent from and returned to
Orthotica Labs by your provider’s office.
Eligible Devices
All custom foot orthotic devices fabricated by Orthotica Labs are eligible for Continuum coverage.
Benefits
Continuum benefits include:
• Repair or replacement of your covered device(s) in
case of irreparable damage
• Replacement of lost or stolen devices. ($75.00 fee
applies.)
• For children under 18 years of age, one free pair of
devices that the child has outgrown. One additional
pair may be ordered during the covered period for a
fee of $75.00
• In order to make any covered repair or replacement
as seamless as possible, Orthotica Labs will retain
your scans or casts throughout the coverage period.
